The Chips
“Gimme” Putt
Refers to the imaginary distance that makes a putt a gimme or not (it can vary depending on how nice your golf buddies are). Any player who accepts OR asks for a “Gimme” takes the chip.

Take a Bath?
If a ball's final resting place after a shot ends in a water hazard (recoverable or not) that player take this chip.

Side Note: Always make sure its safe to retrieve your ball from a water hazard, falling in while trying to get your ball isn't as heroic as it sounds.

Lord of the Rings
The last person who does not finish a hole or rings out, scoring no points and getting maximum strokes allowed on that hole takes the chip.

Feel free to start a fellowship with other players that get this chip.

Dangerous Wedge
A shot made above the equator of the ball which is miss-hit, resulting in a line-drive trajectory. It causes the ball to fly off the club face really fast, low, and is impossible to control the distance. When any player makes such a shot, they get this chip.

Building Sandcastles
When a player hits a shot into a sand trap and decides to have a beach day, playing in the sand, they receive this chip.
​

Grave Digger
The last player who has two shots or more trying to get out of a sand trap and back into play takes the chip.
​
Maybe there is treasure buried in there somewhere, or maybe they just digging a hole they can get the ball into for a change.
​

Out of Bounds
The last player to end up outside of the white line, white stakes, or other any boundaries such as walls, fences or railings
takes the chip.

Lost my Balls
Any player who loses their ball(s) and cannot find it, either after a drive or on approach takes the chip.
Can also be linked with Out of bounds chip – double whammy!

Woody the Lumberjack
Any shot where the ball travels into or hits/clips/impacts/touches any type of wooded hazard, that player takes the chip.

Snake Putt
Putting starts as soon as the flat stick comes out. Even if you are not on the green. Putting the ball off the green and chipping it back on still counts as two putts. So once the putter is out, you are putting. Three or more stabs with the flat iron earns you this chip.

Call of Nature
A player who uses the bathroom during play gets this chip. Halfway house is the only safe zone. It pays to be prepared.

Ladies First
Any player who fails to clear the ladies tee with their tee-off shot, drive, or any subsequent shot after the tee shot
(let’s hope it never comes to this), takes the chip.
